SCHOMS Annual Conference University of Birmingham, Tuesday 25th June – Thursday 27th June 2024 with optional AVIXA Training Day Monday 24th June.

The conference will commence at 9.00am on Tuesday 25th June 2024 and conclude with a takeaway lunch on Thursday 27th June 2024. An optional AVIXA training session has been arranged for Monday 24th June 2024.

The AVIXA Training Day is free to members and can be booked as a stand-alone course or as an add on to the conference. Times to be confirmed (scheduled for a noon start).

The SCHOMS Annual Conference provides an excellent opportunity to network with like minded professionals and we have created an engaging programme which includes a range of topical themes.

Conference Exhibition

Exhibition Day - 25th June 2024

In a change to previous years, member institutions have the option to send unlimited members to the Partner Exhibition Day free. 

Conference being geographically central this year we hope as many of you as possible will be able to take advantage of this. Booking for all the events is required and can be accessed via this link (booking closed). Note there is no accommodation available for non conference delegates.

SCHOMS conference offers members the ability to network with other HE institutions within a community of practice. 

  • 30 exhibitors sharing products and developments at the dedicated Partner exhibition, with opening speed pitches.
  • Interactive sessions including round tables and panel discussions.

The conference will be hosted by the University of Birmingham, Edgbaston campus. The original ‘red brick’ University home to 38,000 students and rising boasts a beautiful and historic campus on the outskirts of Birmingham city connected with its own train station.

The conference delegate fee is £325 (plus VAT) and includes Bed and Breakfast accommodation Monday to Wednesday and accommodation will be on campus at the Edgbaston Park Hotel. The fee also includes transport to evening events, refreshments, and meals so covers all of your conference requirements. 

We value member presentations, and this year are offering the opportunity to apply to present at the conference and also to apply to present at one of our sister organisations in the US or Australia. More information is available by contacting us [email protected].
