Day Two sees the Exhibition Day with the event designed for both delegates and exhibitors to participate together. As well as the exhibition, the day will also include some SCHOMS Shorts from Institutions around the country and to conclude the day we will again host a ‘Question Time’ style event where we will discuss key questions from both the delegates and exhibitors perspectives to build stronger and more effective relationships and understanding between the two groups specifically around the subject of emerging technologies such as BYOD.

The final day is a mixture of sessions commencing with an intriguingly entitled session “The Psychology of Technology” by Nigel Oseland from Workplace Unlimited; a review of our relationship and training with InfoComm, a presentation on engaging lecturers in technology from Leeds Beckett’s Simon Thompson and a final session led by SCHOMS’ own Mike Allinson worryingly entitled “Big Mike is Watching You”!

The conference promises to be a fantastic opportunity to share good practice, network and keep abreast of the latest developments in the sector. Joan Sheehan and her team at Leeds Beckett, the Exec and myself look forward to seeing you in there!
