SCHOMS Fellowship Scheme 2011-2012

The SCHOMS Executive is pleased to announce that a SCHOMS Fellowship Scheme to support the personal development of its members is now open for its second year.

SCHOMS Fellowships are open to all SCHOMS members and are available to cover networking and professional development activites such as attendance at conferences, seminars, workshops, trade fairs and visits to other institutions.
The Fellowship Scheme aims to facilitate the sharing of good practice and successful applicants will be expected to demonstrate the benefits of the activities to the individual, SCHOMS members and UK HEI’s in general and will be required to submit a written report at regular intervals as appropriate.
The application deadline for the first round of Fellowships is 31st January 2011

The members of the selection panel for both the Fellowship and Project Schemes are:-

• Professor Peter Byers, Head of College; University of Birmingham
• Ms Rebecca Davies; Director of Information Services University of Aberystwyth
• Dr Anne Wheeler, Head of Curriculum and Learner Development; Aston University
• Luis Carasqueiro, Chief Executive, BUFVC
• Jim Sheach, Learning and Teaching Spaces Technology Manager

Toni Kelly, Chair SCHOMS, University of Birmingham and Stuart Davies, Vice Chair SCHOMS, University of Essex, will each Chair the panels as appropriate.
