CTS Technicians Course

Schoms are running this intensive 3 day residential course from 9am to 5.30pm each day and participants are required to attend the whole course.

In previous years, the course has concluded with a test which gives certification. However, test arrangements have changed, are more vigorous and are now managed by test centres around the country. InfoComm have an arrangement with Prometric and as a result, once technicians have completed the course, their own institutions will need to arrange for testing at a suitable date, time and location. The test fee is no longer included in the SCHoMS course fee and Institutions will need to make their own arrangements for payment of the test fee, currently £150+VAT. We have adjusted the course fee to allow for this change. The test will require further study and AV job experience.

Schoms will continue to sponsor the course costs for member institutions (approx 25% of the total cost this year) and the reduced course fee including accommodation, all meals and course materials is set as follows:

• 1st delegate from Member Institution £400
• 2nd and subsequent delegates (Member Institution) £500
• Non Members (per person) £650
